As the daughter of the artists Sheikh Ahmed and Anna Molka Ahmed and the former wife of Colin David, Zarah David has spent a lifetime in art. Since she had inherent musical talent and artistic abilities, her career choices were not easy. Upon earning an MA in Fine Arts from the University of the Punjab in 1964 as a Gold Medalist, she was awarded a scholarship by Trinity College of Music, London.
