Shahnaz Akhtar is a Pakistani visual artist, graphic designer and art educator whose career reflects the evolution of contemporary art practice in Pakistan. She studied at the Department of Fine Arts, University of the Punjab, Lahore, where she received her formal training, later serving as a faculty member at the same institution. Continuing her academic pursuits, she returned to the College of Art and Design, University of the Punjab, to complete her MPhil, further enriching her understanding of contemporary artistic theory and practice.
