Muhammad Javed graduated in Fine Arts specializing in painting from the National College of Arts (NCA), Lahore in 1962 and made significant contributions to Pakistan’s art scene. He not only participated in numerous group exhibitions and held several solo exhibitions in Pakistan and abroad but also played a significant role in promoting the appreciation of art and literature, writing research-based articles and introducing numerous new talents.
